Lol...198 RWHP on a car that wheel hops as bad as it does..and weighs more than an S2K... isn't going to pull high 13's in the 1/4 mile. Get serious.

S2000, 2800 lbs, 203-208 RWHP, with NO WHEEL HOP, 7k launch is LUCKY to pull a 13.9-14.2... only a few drivers have pulled 13.66-13.8 (NA), trapping 98-102mph.

The RX-8 isn't going to pull high 13's with 198 rwhp, horrid wheel hop, and additional weight.

... Just stating the facts. (Yes, I own both).

On the other hand, once the Canzoomer stage-1 is installed, this might be more achievable...

so what else have you done to modify your engine?? high 13's?? very possible... with almost 200hp to the wheels...that is very possible...

13's aren't possible when the tranmision is going to blow up from the wheel hop..not to mention you can't hook up.

Fix the reared before you try and run 0-anything. IMHO

For once I agree with Aaron. Usually I dis-agree with most of the crap he posts, but he right on here. While I would say that PROBABLY someone like Judge ITO would get high 13's with 198 rwhp (consdering he got a 14.3 stock). He would again, break his car doing so.

The S2000 is an absolutetly pathetic excuse for a drag car, being one of the worst drag cars on the history of the earth and its 10X better than the Rx-8 is at the drag strip.

Use this car for what it was meant for..a practicle fun to drive car that is exhilerating in the twisties. If you want to try to do what a Nova does best you will be sorely dissapointed.
