NC rotors/pads

well...I was wondering if anyone has any lightly used or usable rotors and pads for a sport suspension RX8.

I just started hearing a horrible metal on metal scraping and then I felt the front driver side rotor. It has some serious wear on the outer part. I was hoping to get some very soon, otherwise I'll be ordering new OEM rotors and pads.

Thanks all

Sorry to hear. I just got rid of my grinding

Throwing in an idea....

I picked up the Racing Brake rotors and Hawk Ceramic pads from Fluid Motor sports. I'm pretty sure OEM would be more money and won't look as good.

dood, if you could, you should try and buy a new set of rotors and some good pads. I recommend rotorpros...their rotors are cut from OEM blanks and I have heard good things about them. You can get a full set with pads for under$400. Racing Brake is a great rotor too.

On a side note, what do you have going on next weekend? My car club is having a BBQ out at Falls Lake on Sat. Check the link here: NC Rotaries Annual Falls Lake Cookout or visit us on ncrotaries.com.

Ordered full set of dimpled and slotted rotors and set of Hawk HPS from Rotorpros. Pretty good price that included shipping.

I hope they arrive soon, as my brakes are definitely NOT safe at the moment.

Thanks for the referral I8U!

As for the BBQ, I think I'll be around and as long as I get my new rotors and pads installed, I'd like to meet up with everyone! Maybe I could even convince the fiancee to go...probably not...but maybe.

Glad you found some rotors. The dimpled and slotted are gonna be my next purchase...that is unless Racing Brake goes forward with their open slotted 1-piece rotor like they are talking about.

Hope to see you out next weekend.
