Perhaps the "yellow one" was the first '8' received at Mike Creque Mazda (Franklin). I purchased my '8' there, and they notified me when the yellow arrived so I could experience an '8' up close and personal. My '8' (Sunlight Silver 6MT) arrived several weeks later in a group of 1st and 2nd 'pre-orders'.
I live in Bellevue. My '8' is my everyday car, and while traveling in and around Nashville, I've only seen one other '8' and it was a black one in the Green Hills area. I was told (later by my salesman) the black one was also purchased from Mike Creque Mazda and lives in Green Hills.
Have you met any other Nashville '8' owners on this board?
I work downtown and drive through the gulch every day to get there...
I too have a silver, but its getting its engine replaced - one of the very few! Everyone I know has seen your car- they first think its me and then realize it isnt.
Do you have the GT?

Glad to see some Nashville owners here. I live in Franklin and don't have an 8 yet, but I would love to meet up with someone to get an "extended test drive" with someone who has already broken in their engine. Would anyone be willing to help me out?
Good to see more people from the Nashville area with the 8, I think. I just picked up my Black on Black & Red interior, with everything but the spoiler & the Nav system. It was the one inside Hickory Hollow Mall if you live around there. Bought it Tuesday. So far, so good!
I got off of the interstate the same day behind a blue 8, headed into the mall area.
Maybe we'll see you all around sometime.
