I am setting up a meet in North Raleigh at Brier Creek just off 70 and 540. I am hoping to get up there about 8-9 am next Saturday August the 4th. If you are interested please come and show off your rotaries, we will be meeting just in front of the old Chilis and UNO's restaurants (you will enter the second entrance from 70 and turn right once you get into the center, or the third entrance if you come from the lumly road entrance), where there is plenty of parking since the UNO's is closed and the Chili's doesnt open till 11 am. if you need directions please let me know, i will be coming from Selma/Smithfield area so it will be about an hour drive for me. There is a car meet that day there and i am hoping to take it over with rotaries. So everyone who can show up please come by and have some fun. coolers and chairs are permitted.

i was hoping i would have at least one or two people that would say they would be showing up.

OK well i will be there for sure, hope to see all the local rotaries come by and at least say hi.

Sorry man there just hasn't been much interest from the local guys lately. We used to meet up every other Sat somewhere in the Raleigh are but it really has died off. I'm driving a Speed now...still have an RX8 and am looking at buying an FD from a local here. I might swing by the meet though.

The meet was moved to waverly place in cary on the corner of tryon and kildare farm rd. headed there now

Over a hundred cars at the meet easily. Lots of vettes, stangs, and porsches. Classics new cars muscle, imports, exotics, all were there. But only 2 rotaries, both rx8's my blue one and one black.

Well I was there at Brier Creek with my red series 2 for about 30 seconds before finding it was moved to Waverly. When we got there the place was packed - people were parking on the curbs, in handicap spaces, and there still wasn't room. I parked across the street next to a porsche and 3 GTIs who couldn't fit in either. I saw you guys had arrived later, but didn't catch you by your cars so I couldn't say hi.

It seems the porsche and vette guys knew about the location change - maybe we should check out their message boards to see where it will be held next month.

Im glad you were able to come out, i had not been to the meet in a few months, so i am guesing the brier creek folks joined cary down at waverly place. next month i will try to get there early and hopefully get in that stretch in the shade at the bottom of the parking lot. since i now know they are in waverly, and we can try to set up a line of rotaries if we get some more interest. this meet is definately for car lovers, not just rotary lovers, but im sure we can help modify that somewhat.

the first of september should be the next one in cary at waverly place, i am going to try and get there by 8-830 am and get a good spot near the bottom of the parking lot in the shade, i am inviting all rotaries, i wast to see moree of them then the corvettes or mustangs that show up out there.

all right ladies and gentlemen, this saturday is thhe next meet at cary's waverly place off kildare and tryon rds, i will try to be there early, before 8, annd get inthe shade, i recommend if you want to come by you do the same. see you theree, i will be in my Winninng Blue 8.
