Gordon, we'll contribute to the Chateau Phlash Fund (gas money) if you bring the camper.

Ok, they have covered pits here, so why don't we all go, pick one night to cook out, or cater something in, and just hang out. I spent MANY thanksgivings at the Rock, when I raced go-karts. The grand nationals were always there. I can even tell you the times we ran on the road course.
Gordon, If you bring the hotel, I would like to contribute to Phlash fund as well.
Lego, Silver, and who ever else, I'll take you up on that........I am still trying to get some details on the camping area there. I need a 30a hookup and all is good. We have room for for four more.....
Only thing.......we are selling our house (getting a place with more land) and are due (in theroy) to close around that time........so, I won't know until a week to 10 days before this event if I'm really good to go........
The boss cleared me, just gotta clear the other.
Yes Chris, I'm working race control and start (the 8 is a little under powered to pull Chateau phlash). As for the others, I'm not sure. Heck, drive it if ya want to, but it's a blast working it as well.
Phlash, I'll take a spot at the Chateau. I'm in for gas, and or help to drive. What do i need to do to work the event? Does NASA still need workers?
If you don't have space for the ride up to the Rock. David has offered to pick me up at the airport, so I'll fly in and we will meet you at the track.
BTW-I called OPM Autosports, great deal to drive "race prep'ed" Miata's. The only thing I don't have is my Novice SCCA License (David can you help a brother out?)
Can I get a ride from the Hotel? No offense Gordon, but I'm old. David, you have to go home...wife and all, what hotels do you pass on the way home from the track?
Can I bring camping gear, what's the set up at the Rock? Can I bring the dog, he love the track?

You bet, let me map out the drive from Chattanooga to this place and I'll let ya know....
So first will kill the tires at Robeling....................next the brakes at the Rock!
Finish killin' em at the Rock, apparently. Talk to my NASCAR bud today and he reminded me that Rockingham is "as rough as a cob". Uh-oh. May not be much potential in the ole' Potenzas after that.
