Any RX8 mechanics in Nashville area?
Hey just checking to see if anyone knows of a GOOD rotary mechanic other than the one and only Mazda dealer in the Metro Davidson-Nashville area??
Thanks!

Thanks. I just googled them and they are in Morristown, TN,
1 hour east of Knoxville. At least a few hours from Nashvegas..lol
It sucks that in an area the size of Nashville there is only one!!??

The only one I know of with good reviews is Redline Performance in Ashville, NC. Sorry it is a haul but your best bet.
A T Redline Performance

There are a few guys around town that I would trust to assemble / rebuild an engine for me, but they're not a "shop" and very selective about what they're willing to do.
Kevin Landers at rotary resurrection is a good guy and does good work. There's also Mazmart in Atlanta, Angel motorsports, Chips Motorsports, etc.
If you're just wanting a basic rebuild, then I recommend pulling your motor and sending it to rotary resurrection. It's a base $1600 rebuild then the price goes up depending on hard parts that need to be replaced. if you want him to pull the motor and everything, then the price goes up from there. No matter what you do, you're going to spend some money. There is no cheep and reliable solution.

Not saying the guys at Phantom Automotive can't do a good job. Just saying that it is a very... prestigious title that almost no one ACTUALLY has outside of the internal Mazda facilities in Japan.
