I was originally looking to see if these mounts were any good compared to others on the market, and after finding everyone else's reviews of them being good i decided to look into buying them. Just out of curiosity, is the stainless steel version also lighter than the OEM?

Although they are much more robust than the OE design they are still very close in weight, within a few ounces actually.
