Looking to purchase RX-8 immediately (just totalled mine).

Here are the non-negotiable features:

Blue or Red
6speed manual
Leather
Grand Touring, R3, or otherwise having suspension/brakes upgrades

Preference: Ground effects (factory package or otherwise)

Looking for something less than $14,000.
Interested in either low mileage and less features, or willing to take high mileage with more features (i.e. a high mileage R3 or GT with ground effects would be okay, as would a lower mileage 04 GT).

Racing features, performance mods, etc are welcome.

Willing to drive anywhere on East Coast or Central US for the right car.
Will pay cash, money order, cashiers check - no financing needed.

(this may look similar to another post but it is not a duplicate - my price range lowered because the insurance company gave me less money than expected)

I'm moving out of the country for my job and looking to sell. Got a 2006 GT fully loaded (no navi). Will throw in the rims and hks exhaust. Also have original exhaust and original rims + tires.

Very clean inside and out with a few minor scratches and 1 small ding in the back. Ding can probably be fixed if pulled out. Has 37000 original miles and had a engine swap under warranty a few thousand miles ago. Running strong and clean inside and out. This is a hell of a deal

Unfortunately, the insurance company cut the check today and I only have $13,100 plus taxes and tags to spend. I am assuming that you would not be able to accept that amount, especially with the extras.

Unfortunately, the amount I can spend is 100% fixed at $13,100 at the top end and it's the rims and exhaust that make it so attractive to me. I understand your side too though. I'm just stuck with what I have in terms of funds and I have some options more local to me for a RX8 GT without the extras for a couple thousand less, so the extras are what would bring me to make out my price range and come to NC to get it. Again, I understand you side though.

I don't think I replied before, so I didn't want to leave you hanging without a response.

you can check mine out it's a 05 gt w/out nav hks hi power exhaust mazport dual resonated midpipe and the cooling mod. with tork revo rims 235 front 265 rear on tien s-techs. 58k miles on it. i will sell her for 12k. pm if interested

I have a red 2004 RX-8 with red and black leather interior, grand touring, ground effects from factory, 6-sp manual, 6 disc CD player and radio, and nav system from factory. I am the original owner, purchased car new in late August 2004. Car has been stored winters. I turned over 35000 miles in early August and can provide exact mileage if interested.

Have had some health problems and need to let the car go. I live in southwest corner of Michigan no more than 2 miles north of Indiana state line and within 10 miles of Univ of Notre Dame. There are a few quirks listed below:

1. In february my car fishtailed and bounced off a concrete divider... you will need a new bumper i have access to one and if you are serious about purchasing the car i will give it to you just need to get it painted. You may also need a front passenger side fender.
2. There is a parasitic battery drain on the system if you do not drive the car daily and leave it over 24hrs it will be dead but a boost will bring it back to life. I currently disconnect the battery through a quick disconnect since its mounted in the trunk its pretty easy.
3. I only have one key, the first owner lost the second one and i never had it replaced.

Has Koni "yellows" and tein S-tech Springs giving it a total ~2 inch drop.
20% tint all around, Including a front windshield visor strip.
In perfect condition (always garaged) However, it needs a wheel alignment. ~37,000 miles, always used premium gas and regular scheduled oil changes.
