I have decided to sell my RX8, even though I was going to wait until the new RX7 comes out. It probably won't even be worth it for the pricetag , and until Mazda comes out with a streetable 3 rotor renesis, and give customers what they want, I will not support them, due to their repeated behavior of ignoring customer wants and the outrageous price paid for mediocre performance.

The car is a 2004 RX8 GT 6-speed fully loaded except GPS. I am the second owner of the car and bought it at Sport Mazda 3 years ago. It has 121,700 miles on it, most highway miles, and it is garage kept, washed and polished weekly, and religiously maintained. I change the oil every 3000 miles or every 3 months, I have changed the coolant, belts, alternator, thermostat, shifter (stock replacement), upper control arms, the transmission oil has been changed twice, the rear differential gear oil has been replaced twice and limited slip additive was added to the oil as required, and that is pretty much it. Whenever I replaced a component, I always replaced the bolts and nuts pertaining to that component, because that is proper procedure, and I do things professionally. The car still runs like a champ, and the only problems I have had with parts are those that wear out normally, like the clutch, struts, springs, brakes, tires. The car has never been in a wreck, clean title, fully owned, no lease, nothing owed. The car has also been driven responsibly, and everything has been properly installed and torqued to factory spec. Every time the wheels come off, the lug nuts are hit with a torque wrench when reinstalled. For these reasons, and the condition of the vehicle, I am asking $10,000obo. Sorry if that sounds ridiculous, but again, it is not firm.

11. GTSpec stainless steel header
12. Exoticspeed highflow cat. w/ resinator
13. Mazdaspeed dual muffler exhaust
14. GTSpec air diversion panel (Skid plate)
15. Mazda front mud guards
16. Silverstar fog lamp bulbs
17. Clear side markers with LED orange blinker bulbs
18. New Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus 225/45/ZR18 95Y tires with only 3000 miles on them
19. 15% Lumar Window tint on rear windshield and side windows.

I have all available receipts and paperwork of every part replaced, and upon purchase of the vehicle, I obtained a copy of the recall repair history, to ensure that all recall items were replaced, and it turns out that the dealership had installed the recall engine at right around 40,000 miles.

It had a recall engine installed before I bought it. When I had purchased the car in 2009, it only had 40,000 original miles, and the recall history that I had Sport Mazda provide for me showed the entire list of recall service procedures, including the recall engine. I still have this list with the purchase paperwork.
