Selling my 2006 rx8 shinka. Don't want to but I see a house I would like to buy and this car will be the downpayment lol. I bought the car from my dad back in late 07. He bought it new so I'm the second owner. Car runs great... It was sitting at my moms house for about a year (I bought a v8 :-) lol. And I would rather see some one drive and enjoy it since im stuck on v8's now. I went and picked the car up last month and put some 30day tags on her to make sure everything works and runs great and it did.. Could probably use a alignment and that's about it. I changed all the fluids such as oil,coolant. Tires have about 70% worth of tread left but look a little dry rotted but still 100% drivable. The paint looks good I'd give it a 8 out of 10. Just a few slight scratches but nothing noticeable. Interior is 10 out of 10 hands down.

What happened to the front bumper? It's missing the air dam/stock black piece.
Undertray and it's not flush with the fender on the driver's side?

I took the air dam off. I cracked it in a parking lot on the concrete block that you pull up to. I liked the look so I never replaced it. I also removed the fog lights. I did not and still don't notice the fender being low?. I believe it's just the way I took the picture.

I took the car to a local shop and told them that I would like them to change all the fluids since it's been sitting...
I'm just listing what they charged me for...

ALL RX-8's have a 12V electrical Power Steering System..it does not use (ATF) or Power Steering Fluid.

There is technically nothing they could do to the Power Steering System with Fluids.

If they say they have topped off Power Steering Fluid (ATF) then your were ripped.

However, you do own an Automatic Trans, they could have topped off ATF Auto Trans Fluid, or even completely changed the ATF, but at that low mileage I find ANY topping off of any Trans Fluid unnecessary and not required....unless you have an ATF leak, you can go 40+K without needing ATF.

I never stated that I changed the ATF.
But thank you !!!! You guys just made me 162.00 bucks and most likely got the guy who serviced my car fired.I told them what you guys said and they looked at my car again then pulled up my records and gave me my 162. And apologized.
I'm going out to eat tonight!! Lol

Geez...I know YOU did not, but, I put that there in case they "may" have put it on your invoice or receipt or "may" have verbally told you that they were in error, or perhaps "may" have used ATF in your Auto Trans instead of ATF in your Power Steering PUMP that does not exist.....got it...I forgot you know nothing about cars.

Great to see then you got the $162 back.....Merry Christmas (we still say this in Australia)...not 'Happy Holidays' BS....it is Christmas....well it is tomorrow here.
