FS: 2004 RX8 black 6sp 29k miles $19,400 in CHICAGO, pay your air ticket
I had already posted a thread for my car few days ago, but am starting this one since the title of the other thread can't be changed and I wanted to include the lower price and add the air ticket option to attract more prospective buyers to see this...
I'm selling my 2004 Mazda RX8, one owner, non-smoker, VERY GOOD condition inside and out, its condition is as good as it gets for a car that’s 2-3 years old. 1.3L Renesis Rotary engine with 238hp, rear-wheel drive, 6-speed manual, black exterior and interior, suicide rear doors, cloth bucket seats front and rear, power everything, remote trunk release and keyless entry with alarm, AC, cruise, tilt wheel, AM/FM single CD, leather steering wheel with radio controls, digital clock, illuminated visor mirrors, map lights, center arm rest with storage and 2 cup holders, sport suspension, limited slip rear differential, stock 18” alloy wheels, tire pressure monitor system, tachometer with digital speedometer, rear spoiler, mud flaps all around, cargo mat, cargo net, ABS brakes, front/side/curtain airbags, 1.25” Class 1 rear hitch installed professionally by Uhaul (for bike rack), only the hitch receiver is visible from the rear while hitch frame is completely hidden behind bumper, car‘s engine and chassis was never modified in any way, never raced, factory warranty until Oct.2007 or 50k miles, title is clear and clean in my name with no lien, comprehensive 30k mile routine service check and inspection done on Apr.27, 2006 with no flaws found, all maintenance done per schedule in owner’s manual at Mazda dealer with all receipts available, always garaged when at home, reliable and fun to drive, selling because I’ve upgraded to another car. More pics available upon request. If you live within a 2 hour flight from Chicago, I'd consider paying for your one-way air ticket to Chicago O'Hare Airport (then you drive the car home), assuming you'd be committed to buying the car, I'd answer all questions you may have before doing this. Priced to sell fast at $19,400 firm (If you reside in Illinois, tax you'd pay is only $750 to Illinois Dept of Motor Vehicles, not sales tax, since I'm a private owner and not a dealer). I'm in Chicago, IL, Bucktown neighborhood (northwest side). Contact Henry at firstname.lastname@example.org or PM me.

wicked1044, I think you mean 30k not 20k service that I did in April, 2006. It was the typical Mazda 30k service check for the RX8: paid $690 (and I shopped around other Mazda dealers) for coolant flush, fuel injector flush, throttle body cleaning and lubricating, emissions check, engine power flush, replaced manual transmission oil, battery test, brake inspection, tire status check, oil and filter change, lube job, complete 30k mile inspection from owner's manual. I told the dealer to inspect everything as if I were selling or buying the car and they found everything to be in perfect condition. But if you or anyone else is seriously interested in buying the car, feel free to take it to a mechanic of your choice to get it checked out (I live within walking distance of at least 4 repair shops with mechanics).
To address any concerns you may have about my reputation as a seller, you can check my feedback on Ebay, my ID is "dkim90", I have over 200 transactions on record in the past 16 months, most of them as a seller selling my personal items, score is 100% positive, pretty rare on Ebay. Just thought I'd let people know.... you can even send me a message via Ebay to verify it's really me if you have an account set up.
Just to let any prospective buyers know, I'll be on vacation until this friday, June 16. I'll be available to show the car June 16 in the late afternoon or evening, then from June 17 to 29 from 9am-1pm. If you can't make these times, let me know and we'll try to work something out. If you're seriously interested and plan to show up with the money, I accept cashier's check only, made out to my name of course. Then I would just sign over the title from my name to your name, and the car is yours. Pretty easy, I've done it before.
