Hey all, i have a friend who just picked up his wrx sti, and just isn't enjoying the AWD like he thought he would and is looking to get rid of it. I thought i would post it up and see of anyone would be interested in trading him. This car is by far not stock, im pretty sure he made over 400 whp on the dyno with it. All mods were done by MAP performance in MN. i believe over $20,000 in receipts. It is blue with gold wheels, bc coilovers , s20g turbo" just replaced" large top mount IC, external wastegate setup,full 3 inch turbo back exhaust etc. not positive on what for tuning and what not, but i can get all that info if someone is interested. extremely fun car, just trying to push him into a rotary i know i'm not super detailed, i will post more up when i get the chance. just thought id see if it caught anyone's attention and if they had a car for trade or just maybe to buy it. would love him to have a boosted 8! the mod list is MUCH bigger ..just so you all know. i just don't know exact details yet.

i have a vid i should post, the thing is one mean ride. he has always had hondas until this and it was a huge change...he tends to never keep cars long anyways! haha so its time for a change for him. great condition ride.

yeah im not sure..pretty sure the car pulled low 11's the one time it went to the track. he never races it either! hes a super laid back guy, just has a little fun now and then with it. i have had many turbo cars, and this one is amazing. burns awd from a roll in 2nd pretty easily. like i said, he tends to go through cars often just from changing his mind.

I am not sure how 400 hp equates to a low eleven.... even being AWD and cutting a great 60ft. Also, I thought the 2008 models were the hatch backs. Could be wrong though.

It was putting down more then 400 , I'm just not going to overshoot numbers for people. Not a ton more but some. One major detail I forgot, it is running on e85. This is the last year before the hatch model, he works til 5 am so he is not up yet and I'm stuck at work til 430. I had a low 12 second neon about 7 or 8 years ago and this car is noticeably quicker.

This isn't the year before the hatch, this is an 05' and under, the 06' was the one with the redesign headlights, bumper etc. 2008 is when they went to the hatchback.

I have an 04 rx8 6spd w- heated seats and sunroof, also have a bunch of parts that i bought but have not installed yet, i might consider this trade.
Too bad i love so far away.
