The following has been modified;
- HKS Single exit Cat-back exhaust (Have Factory exhaust)
- New Hawk HPS brake pads
- Differential carrier bushings (Reduces wheel hop and drivetrain sloppiness)
- Slightly stiffer Engine Mounts (Reduces wheel hop and drivetrain sloppiness)
- 10mm Performance Spark Plug Wires (Improved gas mileage by around 40 miles to the tank, Will last a lot longer than stock)
- Properly Lowered suspension (Tokico HP "blues" shocks, Tein S-tech springs, FatCat Motorsports bump stops) - Have factory suspension w/ only 25k miles of use
- Synthetic oil in Transmission / Differential
- Polk Audio front door speakers
The transmission was successfully rebuilt by a Mazda Master technician at 36,000 miles on the car. The throw-out bearing was replaced along with both the Master and the Slave clutch cylinders. Engine oil has always been changed / topped off at proper intervals. I can say with confidence that the engine in my RX-8 is very healthy. The recently replaced spark plugs were barely showing signs of carbon buildup @ 25k miles on them!
The body is in great condition, with only a small ding on the driver side suicide door and a few chips on the front bumper (as far as I can see).
