It is with great sadness that I am considering selling my RX-8. I recently got out of the Air Force and started a civilian job. This new job is over 40 miles from my house and the miles were just racking up on my 8. So I had to get a Prius, for the gas mileage, yeah you can laugh...

Anyway, I love this car. I have treated it like it was my child, wash/wax consistently, and constantly looking for ways to keep it running at it's best.

Here are some of the things I have done.

Oil changed religiously every 3k miles

Oil levels checked religiously every weekend

BHR aftermarket ignition coils, wires and spark plugs

Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS DVD Stereo w/ iPhone, USB, Bluetooth, and Aux connections

Rubber floor mats

CoverCraft Noah fitted car cover

Transmission and Differential oils changed at 62k miles

Front bumper repainted Clearshield protector installed on front bumper (minor rock chips were the only damage)

Brand New re-manufactured engine from Mazda installed recently (warranty covered) ONLY 6000 miles on the new and still under 8yr/100k mile PowerTrain warranty

Brand New Red Top Battery Installed September 2013

Royal Purple Synthetic Used with Sohn Adapter Oil Metering Bypass to run with Lucas 2-Stroke engine oil

I have a full excel spreadsheet of all the things done to the vehicle if you would like to see that as well. I will also be putting up a youtube video soon to show the car in a little more detail.

As you can see from the pics, I have the R3 wheels. I am debating on whether or not to keep this set with the vehicle. Obviously, these wheels drive up the price. The current price of $16000 is with the wheels. If you are interested we can talk details. I do have the original set of OEM wheels, however they are in mediocre condition and the tires are quite low on tread.
