For sale is my 2005 Sunlight Silver RX-8 MT Sport (Xenon headlights, fog lights, stability control). Just under 42,000 miles (mix of rural town and urban interstates).

Bone stock except for:

• Tokico D-Spec shocks (with extension cables for the rears)
• Bridgestone RE-11 tires on OEM wheels (with tread depth that will be posted tomorrow; they've got a decent amount left, though)
• GROM iPod/iPhone/iPad adapter
• Curt hitch (great for bike rack)

I also have a set of 17" alloys with Nokian WRG2 for the winter. If you want them as well, add $500 to the price.

Engine is strong, tranny is good. The car has no known defects. I have a spreadsheet with service history but most of my receipts were destroyed in a flooded basement. The car has been autocrossed though never competitively (I'm a crappy driver) and not very often (I don't run long racing campaigns).

I'm selling it because I don't drive it anymore. I've moved to downtown Chicago and go to school near by. The car sits most of the time and I hardly ever see her let alone drive her. I hate to let her go but she's just a depreciating asset that I don't get to enjoy anymore.

I have the title and it has passed Cook Co. emissions inspection.

The car spends most of its time on DePaul's Lincoln Park campus. I'll meet you anywhere from Wrigleyville to the South Loop/UIC area and as far west as Ukranian Village. If you have a favorite shop in the above area that you want it checked out at, let me know and I'll meet you there with it (you pay for the inspection).

Thanks. The transaction is happening at an fundraiser autocross this weekend. I'll know by Monday if it falls through (i.e. the buyer's wife catches wind of his antics and puts the kibosh on it).
