I have my 04 Mazda RX8 for sale. It has 91,XXX miles, 6 speed manual transmission, 1.3L rotary engine, power windows, powered trunk, hid headlights, suicide doors, emissions inspection just passed last summer and good til summer '13, OEM GPS navigation system, though it’s not working for a reason that I don’t know.
Also, maintenance that was performed 3K miles ago:
- Spark plugs replaced
- Ignition coil packs replaced
- Spark plug wires
- Oil change (usually changed every 3K miles or less)
- Coolant flush
- Transmission gear oil replaced with Redline synthetic oil
- Rear end/ differential gear oil replaced with Redline synthetic oil
- Air filter replaced
- Tires replaced
- Alignment done after tires were replaced to maximize tires life.
Some modifications have been done to the car:
- 19X9.5 SSR D5R with 40 0ffset wheels with polished lips, with fresh Bridgestone Potenza tires (very sticky).
- It’s been lowered on a set of TEIN basic coilovers that make the car handle way better and look very good.
- Viper alarm with remote start. Works awesome in the winter lol.
- Brakes, it has drilled rotors front and rear, with Hawk PS brake pads with a lot of life on them still.
- Brakes, Agency Power steel braided brake lines, front and rear.
- ACT streetlite lightened flywheel, and heavy duty clutchmasters FX100 clutch kit, all these parts were installed by the dealer (Rosenthal Mazda in Arlington, VA) along with a brand new transmission when the car had 60K miles.
- JIC titanium full exhaust catback.
There are also some other modifications that may or may not go with car, depending whether you want them and are willing to pay for them.
- Ipod adapter
- Subwoofer sound system: 12 inch pioneer sub with a hifonics amplifier pushing 400watts. box was custom made for the RX8's trunk.
