2004 Mazda Rx-8 - 6000 miles on motor - Compression scores

Year: 2004
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-8
Price: $6000
Mileage: 107000
Color: Titanium Gray
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): SC

Selling my 2004 Mazda RX8.

Compression Test results: at 250rpm

Rotor 1: 7.8 8.0 7.8
Rotor 2: 7.8 7.9 8.1

Recently had a brand new motor (not refurbished) put in about 6000 miles ago along with an Exedy stage 2 clutch. Always changed oil every 2500 miles and always premixed when getting gas.

Exterior:
All panels match, a few dings here and there but barely noticeable until you're close up to the car. Small spots where paint is peeling, shown in the pictures. Small crack on the bottom part of the front bumper. Right tail light has the normal condensation in humid conditiions.

Interior:
Interior is in near perfect condition. Leather/heated seats. All power locks/windows work as they should. Driver seat power seat is missing the button cover for the switches but they all still work. Aftermarket radio head unit. Bose sound system.

Engine:
The motor is all stock with 6000 miles straight from Mazda. I have all paperwork that comes with. OBX catback exhaust. Not raspy at all, sounds very smooth. Exedy Stage 2 clutch installed with new motor. Mint green painted Intake box and fuse box.

Wheels/Tires:
18x8.5 5x114.3 +35 Avid.1 AV20 Bronze wheels on Falken 225/45/18 all around with about 50% tread left. Red lugs all around. Rear passenger side wheel has some curb rash.

The "Bad":
- issue with the gas tank where once the gauges reads past the 1/4 tank mark, fuel will no longer be sent into the motor.
- minor cosmetic issues mentioned above
- CEL thrown from a secondary air pump sensor

There are no brand new engines, they have not been available or a long time. GLWS though, solid numbers.

I have the same issue, it's the sensor in the tank. I have not replaced mine so, when my odometer reads past 200, I know I have less than a gallon left in the tank and 10 miles left to find a gas station.

Good luck with the sale.
