Question Wheel wax?

Hey guys, wondering what kinda wax you use on your wheels. Just regular auto body wax? Or is there special heavy duty wax that are made for wheels?
I just bought a can of eagle one wheel polish, and been wondering if this polish is meant to protect or just clean the wheels?
Also, if you wax the wheels with regular car wax, would it come off if I cleaned my wheels with wheel cleaners (degreasers) so I have to rewax everytime I clean my wheels?
Thanks!

i suggest to use a synthetic wax or a sealant because they can stand more heat than regular carnuba wax. I only use wheel cleaner when it's really dirty. If it's only mild i only wash it with a regular car soap. when you have wax on your wheels it makes it easier to clean because dirt doesn't stick to it as much as with no protectant at all.
