Stupid windex tricks
I was cleaning my interior glass today. I used the usual, paper towel and windex.
After I was done, instead of the usual clear view, it was all hazy. Upon closer inspection, a nice layer of foggy film had formed on the glass. It look as if it needed defrosting.
I cleaned it again, but the film returned.
It took a few minutes and more than a few brain cells, but I figured it out. I had used the last sheet of paper towel from the roll. It had glue in it. They glue on the first towel in the roll! The windex
A half hour and a couple of clean rags later, the muck was gone.

Yes, I use newspaper on the exterior glass. I learned that trick while working at a car dealership as a kid. Old newspaper is better, but I dont' like to clutter the garage.
However, I find that I sometimes got ink on the interior, so I don't use it inside the car. Fresh newspaper is messy.
