Repairing pits in the windsheild

Does anyone know how to repair pit marks on windsheild left from rock strikes? The marks are small, no star or streak, just a small nick. Is there a way to buff out these marks?

you might be able to fill them with resin...but it won't make it clear. so i guess the answer is no. if it were an actual rock chip (star, half crescent, etc.) the resin would just fill in so it wouldn't spread.

they sell kits for fixing bullseye cracks in the windshield.. they might work to fill the pits..
they work decent on the cracks, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. If it doesn't, theyr'e only like 6 bucks or something..

good luck
