My first pet Zaino (warning: large pics)
So, I spent the weekend making use of the Zaino kit I got for my birthday (a fitting present if ever there was one)... 6 hours over two days. Wash, clay, wash, Z5, Z5, Z2 (with Z6 as appropriate). Am thinking about 2-3 more coats of Z2 next weekend too... And rims..
Anyway, enough talk, here are the pics:
Please see here for the rest: http://http://www.flickr.com/photos/...re/tags/zaino/

Thanks for the kudos :-D The above was after 3 coats (2 of Z5, 1 of Z2, with a pass of Z6 after each).
Today I put on two more coats of Z2 and I can still see a very noticeable improvement. I was wondering ... when do people who use Zaino start to see "diminishing returns"? I assume that after a point you just won't see that much of a difference anymore. But what is that point? 5 coats? 10? 20?
Heh.. wonder who has the board record for most coats...

Organe peel isn't as bad in person.. I think I might have exaggerated it a little bit in post-processing the photo..
The Zaino process rocks! My arm is dead after three coats (since you gotta go over the entire car 9 times), but it's real easy to do and the results are great... I used the full dosage whatever that is (5 drops per ounce??).
Gonna give her some more tomorrow, see if it goes any shinier

Well I'm probably not going to do any more this year seeing as it's starting to get colder... The current coat should give it decent protection through the winter months.
I can't wait to redo the whole thing from claybar on up next season, with the experience I now have! Should be glorious
Willicuddy: wet sand won't hurt the clear coat?
