So i chill at my friends house for 4 hours i drive home and as a walk in look at how pretty my car is i see some frozen yellow on the bottom door panel and some *** clown egged my car. its 1:21 am and i have to wait till to tomorro to clean it off WTF!

 

I'd clean it off now...that stuff can eat your clearcoat.

Yeah, man, I'd get a bucket of warm water out of your house and douse the egged spots with it. Don't leave it on the paint overnight.

 

Cold water works better on egg as long as it's fresh. Warm water turns it solid.

 

Really an egg can damage the clearcoat? hmm

Also...it seems EVERYTHING damages paint...what can paint resist???? It just makes me mad that PAINT can't overcome organic things like bird poo, eggs, etc....

It's seems that what ever touches our paint always comes with the disclaimer:

"It will eat the paint"

 

Here the results. Eating paint none. Chipped paint in the form of a oval several. Im just glad its not smelly. and i have to go get a estimate on monday any 1 have a idea what the price might be?

Did it really chip the paint or just scratch the clearcoat? Egg shells are pretty sharp, but to actually chip the paint? That sucks, man. Sorry to hear it. Hopefully it something you can buff out.

 

well lets put it this way i can see the metal its black completley removed teh blue paint. its cold and paint is brittle.

If it makes you feel any better, my last car got egged several years ago. I was up late one night in the living room watching tv when I heard this thud at the front door. I went to see what it was, and there was egg streaking down the screen door. I went outside and looked around and there was egg all over the cars and the house. My adrenaline made me grab my keys and jump in the car, and I tracked down the three kids about 100 yards down the street. They were afraid I was going to press charges and they ended up staying up the rest of the night scrubbing everything.

Yeah my 8 got egged twice!! I got an estimate form the Mazda detailer and he said since the scrapes were so deep he would have to remove and paint the whole panel (quoted me $550.00). Im glad I didnt get the work done when it had originally got egged because it just got egged lastnight in the same spot it had originally got egged...WTF! I'm going to install some cameras on the perimeter of the house this weekend so next time I'll catch the dirty rotten mother fuc#ers...hopefully.

 

Wow who the hell would egg an 8?
I mean I can see kids egging like a rustly ol 1983 Chevy Celebrity but an RX-8?
