If I do, I won't really need the RX8. Is there any interest on the forum for either the parts (see Jason's build in SportsCar) or the entire car? Quickest RX8 in STX -5th overall. Was beat by two Civics and one two-driver BMW. 2004 model.
Quick run down:
Sparco seat
Custom tune - Cobb AccessPort
Header
Pulleys
Small battery - Braille, iirc.
RB intake
Mid pipe with cat and light resonator
JIC Titanium muffler. Light as my B stock exhaust, but tons quieter. No problems with sound.
Racing Brake BBK
Motons
Lightweight wheels
Wing - although the BOD hasn't spoken yet, so you never know. I was going to run without it in 2011 anyway. I think it will be better balanced and quicker.

Reason: addd brake kit
If you're putting the car up for sale, you should start a thread in the Classifieds section.

Don't forget that suspenson will also fit an MX-5.
Will you fit in a CM car? I would think you are to tall for most of them.
I agree that CM is very tempting. I was looking at possibly picking up a FM or CM car, but then I decided to wait until my son is old enough to start karting before I trade in the 8 for a tow vehicle. I also had concerns about fitting, but apparently some chassis will fit tall / wide drivers fairly easily, while others it would be nearly impossible. Good luck if you go that route.
I wish I could say I'll take those Motons off your hands, but unfortunately that is not my financial reality at the moment. Sending a PM anyway...
Now how much did you spend prep'ing the RX8/Z3/Z4 and how much was the depreciation?
Not that bad actually, not that I really care either because I call it the cost of doing what I enjoy
The Z4 was a 2 year lease. Same for the RX-8, except I bought it outright at the end. Since it's fully paid for why should I care. Debating whether or not to put a turbo & wide wheels with fat Hoosiers minus any weight that can be scuttled on it for SM next year or just fine tune for another season in STX.
If depreciation is your concern then jumping out after only one year makes that not so wise of a decision. Not to mention your fairly new on the STAC too. Sounds to me like you're afraid of the big bad Honda monster.

You may be confusing posts. The depreciation concern wasn't mine.
Most of my friends are trying hard to convince me to stay in STX another year - we'll see.
