I have searched and have not heard anything about this concern that I have with the fitment of the PT Rear bar at the end Links. Using the stock end links,with the softest setting, the bar faces up about 20-30 degrees and and the links face forward about 30 degrees. My understanding is that the bar should be as close to horizontal and the links as close to vertical as possible. The way these look appear to be unable to transmit any force quickly and efficiently. Do I understand this correctly?

I built my own links with a male and female heim joints to get me down to a distance of 2 1/2" center to center which improves the angles when adjusted to a minimum, but is still not ideal. Racing beat end links are 3 1/2" center to center, I think and I was not able to get an answer on the AWR links.

Anybody else have this problem and if so, how did you correct it? Seems to me that the PT bar is not bent quite right and is a little too long on the ends.

Adjustable sways will cause the end links to lean front or back unless one of the holes happens to be in the same place as stock and if you're lowered, then stock length end links will cause the bar ends to be pointing up. Shorter end links will help get the bar back closer to horizontal, but it will make the angles of the endlinks worse.

In the end, as long as you're not binding, I don't think it's a problem. Less than ideal, sure, but not the end of the world, especially on a street car.

It is difficult to get the 8's rear bar to sit parallel with the ground if you have lowered the car significantly. Even the shortest available end link (which i think is the AP rear link) will get you close, but not precise.

The car is run in stock autocross and TT's, so it is stock height. I am running the bar on the rear in an attempt to loosen the rear and minimize understeer. My rear camber, set at a minimum, is approximately 1.6 and the rear end is very tight which really doesn't fit my preferred style of driving.

The horizontal bar end hypothesis is just over-generalized marketing BS. Even the OE rear bar end is not horizontal, and it certainly doesn't stay horizontal in use regardless. Would it be ideal; kind of, except it's not practical in this application without a major re-design. Does it make much difference in real life numbers; not really.
