Just Track It open track event - Atlanta Motorsports Park - Oct 25, 2013
Registration is in full swing now for the Just Track It open track day at Atlanta Motorsports Park. AMP is the newest road course in the SouthEast offering dramatic elevation changes and an unparalleled driving experience. The track was designed by the famous Herman Tilke of Formula 1 fame. Since the track is a motorsports country club rather than a venue where competition racing takes place, Tilke threw the book at the track and used every trick he knew. The result is corners based on some of the most famous race tracks in the world. There is even an Eau Rouge! We will have a great variety of cars on track including members of the Georgia RX8 Club. So, come to Atlanta and play with us. You will get the best deal in track time ever! A full weekend worth of track in one day at half price of a typical NASA, BMWCCA or most other clubs.
Here are the basics:
- 3 run groups so you get max track time
- Instruction available for Novice drivers
- Passing by Point-By only. Advanced group can pass anywhere on track with point
- Event time is 9am-5pm
- Car must not exceed AMP's sound restrictions (98dB at 50 feet) detailed on their website
- SA2005 or newer helmet required
- Passengers allowed
-Convertibles allowed with factory rollover protection (like Porsche Boxster) or competition approved aftermarket rollbar (like Harddog Hardcore bar for Miata)
- Event runs rain or shine
- Cost to drive is $225
More details and registration online at Upcoming Event Information - Your ticket to on track excitement
Feel free to PM me with any questions as well.

Matt - you will not be disappointed. You are in Advanced and will be scheduled to run at 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. Then there may be opportunities to go out a little more.

Nabil, Im sure I would be fine in advanced group but if there is a way for me to ride along with Travis or someone who had driven there before on their first run then drive in intermediate I would be ok with that.

I really wish I could make this. My coworker's wife is going to be having a baby that week so I am covering shifts for him Won't even get a chance to try out my new rpf1s.
Matt, that track is a load of fun!
