Sorry, haven't been back here in a while. I will get the specs (don't remember them), but yes you need them looser than the factory specifications. We had ours to tight (factory spec) and we cooked it after about 8 hours if testing for the first 12hr race we did even with a cooler attached.

In ITR we are not allowed coolers and I have not had an issue ruining a gear. Expect temps at or around 300 and get a gear oil you believe in that can handle those temps...
