No Road Atlanta... I worked as an official in the hot pits last year and was very interested in driving an endurance race.
Let me know if your plans change.

I am racing my RX8 in the SCCA Devil in the Dark race. Noon to Midnight on Saturday on the other NJMP course... I need to figure out a way to jump over and hop in your car just for an hour stint! Let me know how much (FYI, plan on fueling a lot... should make about 1hr on a tank.)

But.. The roof is structural. The cage is going to hold the car together then?
Anyway.. Good luck

Overall the car has so much potential. With that information being transferred over to the new chassis it will be a good contender in EC. Looking forward to getting back in the drivers seat.

ok car is just about back together and running good but now its a open top car and we lost a total of 365 lbs of weight from the car that should help alot we also now have much better tires and hps plus pads now along with a more free flowing exhaust and k&n filter and a huge koyo radiator

we have spots open for daytona 14hr race and the vir 24hr race prices are 800 for both events .my email is usedcarpartss@aol.com will post new pics of car soon

sell we just did the 24hrs at vir and finished 66th and 4th in ec class.2hrs into the race we got hit in rear rim and broke a upper suspension arm and had to drive 7 hours to our shop to get another one but once back on track we went from 8pm till 10am.the car did well and we did about 16 hours of track time so far that 4 speed trans has done 34hrs of track time and still going strong.we are building another car and will have lots of seats to rent for next year the schedule comes out around nov this year.we will be going to alot of races next year i will update with were we will be going.

we have figured out the car needs a 5.11 diff to get thru the gears faster so we can take advantage of 4th gear more and get a better top speed that we are planing to do on both cars in near future

we have decided today that we will be swaping out the automatic trans for a 5-speed manual trans but will be keeping the 4 port motor mainly for cost the motor has good power and we had decent speed but the auto trans is holding us back gearing wise.it was either this or a 5.12 diff but cost and function the 5-speed swap will be a better choice for us.so next year both cars will be 5-speed manuals

if everything goes fine usually 2 or 3 stints for 14hr races and up to 4 stints for 24hr races everyone that signs up has to read thru our driver agreement before signing up with us.the automatic has proven to be very reliable not the fastest on track but we continue to try and make it better and better the 5-speed car we have yet to race but should be alot quicker car than the 4 speed auto

i already have 3 people signed up for road atlanta
