MI OEM Wheels (w/TPMS!) + 245 BFG R1s

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $700
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Others, Series I, Series II
Location (US State/Canada/Int): MI
Item Condition: Used

Full setup perfect for track days. Sold my 8.

OEM 18" wheels w/ TPMS installed.

245/40-18 BFGoodrich R1 Tires. Great shape, 1 qualifying session on a Mustang and one track day on the RX8. The one that was on the outside front has a touch of shoulder wear, but even the grooves are still pretty deep, so there is plenty of meat left.

Was $800 now
$700 + shipping on wheel / tire package.

Look at all that grip!

FYI - the actual apex was about 10 yards further up, but don't tell anyone, because that picture looks cool.

I have someone interested in the brake only, but if they pass, how does $170 shipped sound? Less if you send me some Unibroue beer.

Sounds good, let me know if it doesn't work out.

Let me see if I can find some "Fin du Monde" (End of the world) Unibroue beer.

Sale pending on the brake pads.

I have no use for the wheels / tires anymore. Want them gone. How about $800 plus shipping?

I'd rather sell as a package, since they're mounted / balanced / ready to hit the track. If I get no bites I'll have to separate. Stay tuned.

Brake pads sold!

La Fin du Monde, Trois Pistoles, and Maudite are pretty easy to find. Quelque Chose and Ephemere are much more rare here in Detroit.

Buy these tires and put your RX8 on the track. Best thing I ever did with the car.

Did I mention that the wheels are in really nice shape? Not concours, as they do have a rash or two and did see a Michigan winter or two as well. But really, really nice:

The tires are in great shape too. The "dot" in the below picture is the wear indicator. Still pretty darn close to full tread depth.

Close up of the grooves on the tire. When the grooves are gone the tires still have life left.

Surprised these aren't gone yet. Price drop to $700 + shipping.

I would be willing to make the drive if you do not find someone who wants the wheels and tire combo. Pm me a price sans shipping.

Well, they're not doing me any good sitting in the garage. These things need to go.

Chika, according to Amazon.com, the TPMS is the same on almost all Mazda vehicles. Most importantly, the same for the 04 and Series 2 RX-8. I'd strongly prefer not to separate, so if you are serious, let me know. I'll split shipping if you don't want to make the drive up.

Cabrone, if Chika doesn't want the package, I'll separate them out for you.
