To my knowledge, there is no one who sells the position sensor separately. It is only available as a complete OMP unit for >$1000 new. That is why you see used rx8 OMP's selling for $200-300 (I think Ihor recently sold one on here), because people are somehow breaking the position sensor during removal/install. Having done many rx8 r/r's to this point, I cannot understand how this is happening...there are other items that would be more likely to take damage during the procedure.

If you get desperate, I do have a couple of whole OMP's for sale, that have the position sensor still on them.

Would likely be better to buy a functioning assembly

Since the manufacturer and Mazda both give no instructions on how the switch is supposed to be adjusted it is hit and miss. I have had good luck adjusting them...but others have not
