FS: Carbon Fiber Seibon TSII Hood or BB Oem Hood

Well I have 2 hoods right now and i'd like to sell one asap. I have the carbon fiber hood on my car right now and the oem sitting in my room taking up a lot
of space.

I'm selling the BB oem hood for $200 - Just small scratches here and there like any hood would have at like 35k miles. But it's in great shape.

I bought the Carbon Fiber Seibon TSII hood from: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=113336

I'll let it go for NEW PRICE $285...I really perfer to keep this hood because it looks more aggressive and i chose this hood for a reason but i'll let it go for this price and for the sake of saving space. Now, the problems with this hood are:

1. The seller told me it's a direct replacement... but when i fit it on my car, all 4 bolts didn't fit on the hood to the car... only one from each side so i had to take it to a shop and have the 2 pieces of hinge like part that connects the hood to the car altered. He took a drill bit and increased the size of the hole. Wasn't a hard job and I only paid $30 to get it done but just letting you guys know.

2. As the original seller posted, there are weird blemishes or what he calls clear coat damges here and there. I personally don't like how they look at all and i will not keep it carbon fiber. If i keep this hood, i plan on painting it black to match my car. If someone chooses to take this hood, just want you to know.

Well those are the 2 hoods. I've bought and sold parts on the forum many times before (you may search and find out for yourself ) I live in northern nj only 15 mins away from nyc and about 90 mins away from philly. Hope to let go one of these hoods quick.

My friend took the picture of my oem hood last night but i didn't get em yet so... i can post it when i do get them... but picture ur oem hood... now in black lol =P (even in the pictures, the scratches are so small u can't see them in the picture anyway)

As for my carbon fiber hood... it's on my car, which is at a mazda dealer getting the 30k maint. So i'll try to post pictures of it too when i get my car hopefully by tonight.

**I'm also selling a brand new never used optima yellowtop battery for $120 if anyone wants it, let me know. There is nothing wrong with the battery, i was gonna swap it out but since i plan on getting a turbo kit, that kit comes with it's own battery

**** UPDATED WITH PICTURES.... what i thought were scratches weren't scratches. just skid marks that came right off when i cleaned the hood. I took off the carbon fiber hood and put back my stock back on. I can retake the pictures to prove the condition of the hood but will have to wait for my friend to revisit

There's virtually no weight savings since our OEM hood is aluminum. You might save a couple pounds but it won't be more than 5.

I wouldn't say it's yellow... it seems more like gray-ish or white-ish blemishes. But i'll try to take a high quality picture to show it asap

Lol, so it wasn't my imagination. When installing it, i felt the seibon hood feeling a lil heavier but yea, i think it looks a lot better.

Awww... seems like no one will buy an OEM hood... i guess i have to let go of the carbon fiber hood.

Like i said tho, if ur very clean cut and want everything to look perfect and want to keep the carbon fiber look, this hood isn't for you.

Here are the pictures... in the close up picture, you can see the blemishes.

EDIT** Anyways... I took the pictures but i don't kno how to upload these cuz the file is too big... my windows is in korean and things look too complicated. If i can send the pictures to someone who can upload it for me... that'd be great... Pm me!
