Just checking to see if anyone is interested sooner rather then later.
I've got a set of 4 winter wheels (17") and tires. They've got Bridgestone Blizzak's on them with 3000 miles on them. Plenty plenty of thread left. These are the wheels http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand and the tires are Bridgestone Blizzak's WS-50s, 215/55/17. Were purchased new from Tirerack as a package for $900.
I'm asking $600 picked up in NYC.
I only can show you picture of 1 as that is the only one that I have here with me, the others are stored in the truck.

Is there a height difference compared to the stock rx8 tires/rims?

The pic shows a tire that was made in early 2005. If that is correct, 4 plus year old tires can be near their time in another year unless wrapped in air tight packaging. Have you worn these every winter in NY City? just thinking of the marvelous city street roads NY has and the condition of the tires.
No, I got them from the previous owner who bought them back in Jan 08 and used them for that winter and last winter. The previous owner was in New Hampshire.
