Up for sale is a brand new stage 2 clutch. I had two brand new clutches laying around and decided to sell this one. Price is 500 OBO shipped and insured.
Here is some info:
Steel Back Heavy Duty Street System
70% over stock holding capacity
The FX200 System uses the Power Plus I Pressure Plate and the Steel Back Kevlar disc. This clutch is designed for the street enthusiast or weekend racer. The FX200 offers similar torque holding capacity to the FX100, however, with the Kevlar dic, its life expectancy is increased by 2-3 times. It features only slightly increased pedal pressure (over stock components), significantly longer life than stock, and normal clutch feel during engagement and disengagement for the smoothest operation of any stage we offer.
Power Plus I Pressure Plate:
Hi-Leverage Design
Precision Heat-Treated Single Diaphragm
Re-Arched Diaphragm for Superior Disengagement
Heavy Duty Straps
Very High Clamping Force
No Unnecessary Increase in Pedal Pressure
Kevlar Disc:
Kevlar Friction Material
Steel Back Disc
Heavy Duty Sprung Hub
Marcel Spring Wafer
OEM or Better Release Bearing, Pilot Bearing (if applicable), and Alignment Tool are also included!
Steel Backed Materials for Long Lasting Reliability!
Other manufacturers simply rivet the friction material to the disc. Clutch Masters takes it a step futher and first bonds the friction material to a steel backing. This improves thermal dissipation and structural integrity, eliminating common shredding and decomposition.
Do they still sell these? I was trying to lookup the FX200 on Clutchmaster's site they don't list it for the 8? I'll keep this in mind... I may need a new clutch.
In any case, free bump. I had one of these in an earlier car and it was awesome.
