I know I'm not an active member on this site at all but I figured this would be the place to sell these. I was going to be an RX-8 owner and that is why I registered for the site. Things played out a little different and I own a Mazdaspeed 6 instead (at least I kept it in the family) and you can check out my profile at mazda6club.com under kurfgator or ebay under bdkurth.
In July 2006 I bought a set of RX-8 18's with the stock tires for my Speed 6. The tires only had about 1-2k on them so I didn't bother pulling the sensors. I just got new tires and while the tire was off I had them remove the sensors since they don't work for the 6. They have been inside stock tires for about 16000 miles and have never had any fix-a-flat or anything so they look brand new. I have no way to test them so for this reason they are being sold as is. Asking $140 shipped to the lower 48.
