Yes, I agree that this could look strange: this field doesn't allow any other characters but numbers. I tried to put in there both numbers but it doesn't accept them.
At least I'm happy that you found the actual description to be correct and that it clarifies any misunderstandings you've had.
Re: tire size -- yes, you're absolutely correct on this point. I mistyped the size in the title. The correct size is 225/40R18.
