VR RX8 + Chrome

Just got my new OEM style "bright" chrome wheels put on my VR8 so I figured I'd share them with the group. I really like the OEM wheels but i'm a sucker for chrome. I think they came out great!

you need to go out for a drive to clean the rust off those rotors....a few 100+ mph runs will take care of that real quick

Did you have your wheels chromed or did you just buy those like that?Looks nice tho.The paint is already coming off my stock rims and I only have 5k on the car. Im thinking about have my rims painted or chromed but Im not sure.I may want a dark color too just as long as it lasts,The stock paint job suxs.

Those rims are hot! Bling but not in the bad way!

I agree with painting the calipers!

It was basically an exchange program.

1). They send me the stock wheels that have been chromed (triple plated).
2). I have them put on at the shop w/existing rubber.
3). I send back my wheels to them in same packaging with prepaid UPS labels.

Thanks, I took her out to get the rust off too.... :D

Any recommendation on a painting kit? or is it easier to just buy some aftermarket calipers?

Also, I see you've got the Tom Tom navigation. I've got the same kit except I use a Tungsten T3... much cheaper than buying NAV from the factory, and I can use it with whatever vehicle i'd like. One problem though, sometimes I have an issue where it won't pick up the GPS signal unless I do a soft reboot on the T3. Have you had any problems like that?

How much = $550 + $180 2-way S/H (CA to VA) = $730
