been working a lot so no slips yet. My friend went 13.8 with his supercharged 8 this past weekend at the local track.I will most likely be around that mark if I can get off the line well. I suck at launching the car. on a side not, Bryan from BNR went 11.5 in his FC the same night.

Nice man,
Yeah launching the 8 is tricky, its a fine line w/street tires.
On DR it was much easier, heat them up and they just grab but then you start worrying about the drivetrain(trans, diff & such) it's always something.

thanks guys. I really owe it all to those who boosted before me. I've followed threads and asked a ton of questions to make this possible. Slash, you've been a great help. I appreciate you and Brett answering all my questions via email.

yea, 1st gear. It literally roasted the tires once it came into boost. Even the shift into 2nd had a quick spin before getting traction. Please note that it was also 55* outside which a little below what the NT05's like. Especially if not warmed up. I'm tempted to put the stock wheel setup on to see the difference

Only ran the car twice at the track, best so far is 12.7@107 on 12psi.
Launching at 3500, w/2.0 60ft.
Its tuned to 20psi, so there's plenty more in it... if the drivetrain can take it.

Your car sounds good ripping through the gears!

I went 13.3 with 7.8psi on street tires with my 8 when I went to the track about 2 years ago

if you launch it good you should beat 13.8 your car sounds strong.

Ok,

Please correct me if anything here is wrong.

You have a STOCK Renny

You have a DW200 fuel pump (i assume)

You've run 25 PSI, on this platform.

Was this with pump gas?

Travis

stock motor with 115k miles on it. Low compression and failing coolant seal.
greddy kit with 60-1 upgrade.

^Your response from another thread.

Im trying to figure out how you ran 25PSI on a STOCK renny, without completely destroying it..

I have a stock fuel pump. Never got around to putting my walbro in
That particular night I put 5gallons of 116 on top of 1/4tank of 93. I would have ran my e85 mix but I know I don't have enough injector for that. yellow/uncapped yellow/uncapped yellow
I did multiple 3rd gear pulls with a 25psi spike that settled to 19-20 by redline. (on 40* day with not so warm NT05 tires once 5krpm came there was no traction. With a little heat in the tires and 50* weather traction was only an issue in 2nd)
I did one pull from a 40roll(2nd gear) to 4th gear

I'll try to locate the video. It was in a private FB group. I'll see if I can get it uploaded to youtube. If so I'll pm you the link
