So the big 21km Nordschleife is closed right now, and instead they opened the F1 track for public driving. €40 for 25 minutes, or €75 for two sessions. It's deserted here in winter, so me and my friends were almost alone on the track. For some weird reason I actually ended up overtaking the 911 Turbo 997, as he took a while to figure out how fast he could (not) go in the wet...
looks like great fun, how come the gp track is open for the public? looks alot more friendly than the nordschleife. must be a crazy commute back and forth from the u.k to the ring! whats it costing you in fuel?
I live and work here in Nürburg. I have 6-months grace period to import my car and put it on German plates. Will be happening sometime soon, I hope... am still waiting on Mazda UK for papers though

Yeah, those Kendas are pretty horrific in the wet, but they're also on their last 2mm of tread too... they will be replaced with something better in the near future.
