that class sounds like a joke, much like my "mazda sport car" class at Texas Heatwave that had MP5's and proteges etc. Oh well, at least you showed, it's not about the trophy anyway
Nice pics Brett....
I showed my car yesterday also....down in Delaware at the Audio Jam Car Show...
placed 3rd (actually got a trophy)....lol....in the Asian/Other class.....which turned out to be a mazda class....Im not sure how many were in the class but there werent many.....I could have gotten 3rd by default.....
but i had a great time....finally met Lurch519....and yes, he is VERY tall...w00t!
Hope to come to the meet at the end of september...on the 24th..
Wow, thats the first time I've heard of either classes. most of the time its seperated as Mazda class or even Import Mild/Wild. Well, glad to hear about you all showing. Win or lose, they are always a good experience. Yeah, Lurch is a tall dude.

I have seen at least 3 different Ford GT's on the West side of Austin in the Hills... Basically where all the rich ****'s live..... None of them looked under 60 years old either.

1 of them was probably michael dell, the other one was probably the owner of the Oasis restaraunt, not sure about the third, but there is a guy in town who owns several insane exotics including an Enzo etc. (there's also SW who owns elite autosports, he has several bad *** rides too.)
I've seen several, not to mention a Porsche GT etc..as well...some of the happiest moments of my life lol
Yeah, I saw that and a DB9 on the same stretch of highway in Pennsylvania. Within a half hour of each other. Someone up there liked me that day.
By the way, ndtechie, your car looks almost exactly like mine. The only difference is I haven't been home to put in my clear corners yet. I admire your taste.
Everything had to be stock. They judged for cleanliness of the car both inside and out.
Hmmm..... but your calipers are painted?
Anyway I think a car entry shouldn't be stock but it should be OEM or better quality and it shouldn't look funny (no CF hoods with to many vents or fugly body kits). I think the best looking 8's are in the tradition of high end GT cars.

yeah and MS exhaust, but thats it. they werent allowing like drift cars, 1000hp supras and stuff like that in the show. most traditional sports cars and classic cars. my car was one of around 4 japanese cars, the rest of the field was dominated by american cars and then there were some italian, british and german cars there as well.
