RX-8 Chop

Looks pretty good though I don't care for the car being that low
Wheels shouldn't tuck into the well... just my $.02. I don't like the spoiler but it fits the car well... but I wouldn't buy it like that ;P

I'm 110% in favor of aftermarket mods for anything that bring a performance gain to the RX-8.
That said, I don't think lowering it will help much (most of the weight is centered anyway). I don't think that the wing on the car serves any purpose unless the car is specifally built to go over 120mph on the road (which it isn't). Only race cars benefit from wings like that.
Body kits are the same.. if they add weight and add drag to the car, I'm 100% against them. Modifying the look of the car is fine, but if it takes away from the performance in any way, then I wouldn't do it. Wings, body kits, the guys that add 20 fog lights (hehe I've seen a few of those), rims that are heavier (bigger or smaller is really not important), exhausts that weigh more but are more throaty, etc.
If I did modifications to the car you would never be able to tell I did. It would be replacing parts with lighter weight items, exhaust maybe, perhaps an intake (though I'd have to see Dynos before and after for seeing if the investment is worthwhile), and some suspension mods (bigger roll bar maybe, who knows right now).
But as per the body kits, no I'm not a fan. If it's tasteful then I don't mind. But the huge wings and inefficient drag spots in the front 99% of the time make a car slower. The people who make the body kits don't have a wind tunnel available to them, and if they do they sell it as a racing modification and it costs 10 times more, and is custom fabricated each time.

I like it
But then again I'm 15. I preferred the 2nd yellow one but I think the all black mirrors are better, thought about highlighting the mazda symbol on the front? What program do you use to do this stuff? Keep up the good work. P.S what did you do with the silver one, the only thing that looks wierd to me is the back, it looks lengthened. :D

Herc lighten up, sir
Ok, it's not as if he's gonna make it, appreciate his work, I hope you don't yell at kids who build cars out of leggo that stand 10cm high. Oh and that rear wing would provide a hell of a lot of downforce and in the second one, he's got an intercooler in the grill, maybe a turbo, I think he's into performance too. And you can't say that his car doesn't LOOK faster than the stock, like an RX-7 with a veilside bodykit on it, It may predominately be for aesthetics, but for the performance it takes out due to the wieght, it makes up for with the downforce provided at high speed 90km+. :o

Im all for the "sleeper" thing too. As I said in my post where I introduced myself, that when I photoshop a car i try and make them look good, or alter there looks to my likes, and that you can't really photshop a car for "go." Again, about the body kits, body kits dont nessisarally add weight or increase drag.
I belive the RX-8 has 50/50 weight distribution (correct me if im wrong) Front/Rear. Lowering the car lowers the center of gravity and with the proper suspention setup can increase handling capabilities.
About the wing, some people just put wings on there car for looks. To me it makes sence to put a wing on a RWD car to increase stability at high speeds, or for track racing.
I know this is all common car stuff, i'm just pointing out some things, I dont mean to be a little **** tellin you stuff that you already know. Just tryin to make a point.
BTW: thanks for the support from some of you.
