Random shots of current project before winter

Radiator leak (replacing)
SSV removal and cleaning
Oil Catch can
Coils plugs wires and other little stuff.

Took a few quick shots over the past could days nights when I had a little time to dive in for a little bit. Not really in a hurry, she'll be keepin warm in the garage all winter anyhow. Should have all the parts and hoses and all that within the next week or so I would imagine and have her back together soon.

Looks good what did you use to clean the SSV? Carb cleaner? I have yet to do this and feeling like its overdue.

Yeah I used Carb cleaner for most of the valve, then where the shaft goes through the mount I used penetrating oil (a lot) and just let it liquify all the gunk in there, but probably coulda used the carb cleaner just as well.
I've been putting off the SSV cleaning on mine for a while, I threw the codes and had all the symptoms. The Rad leak finally gave me a reason to pull everything out.

Yeah I cleared out some of the area recently and put up some tarps so my space heater will be a bit more efficient.
I took a lot of pics of everything I did. I too was thinking of a little tutorial type thing because I did actually take pics of most steps with that kinda in mind. Its just a matter of the pic size being large and I'll have to load and resize one of these nights here.

Right now while I wait for parts I've been doing some engine bay cleanup with it being a lot easier to access some areas.

-Replacing most of the visible corroded hardware with stainless and chrome in some areas.
-Some much needed wire tucking
-Some painting, some metal polishing, a little bit of heat shielding in some areas.
-Lots of cleaning...
-Restoring headlight lenses
-Cleaning up grounds
-More Cleaning....

Still waiting for some things to get delivered (cuz I keep ordering, lol) Plus I don't want to put in anything new until everything is spotless.

I have to go by the garage this afternoon. May get to painting the stabilizer bar may not. But I'll take some snaps to show my progress tonight, maybe get around to loading all the previous pics later as well

pics aren't really in order on this thread. I'll organize the more detailed images later and try to make more of a tutorial post with the ssv part. But this is more or less what ive been doing while waiting for parts...

Jus got a call from my father. Apparently a whole lot of packages with my name on them arrived at his place (where the garages are)
May not get over there until tomorrow, but super excited to get everything back together with new equipment. I'll take pics when I get around to it of course.

My signature above is actually a strange depiction of the night I had... my morning wasn't so upbeat though

"If you're gonna spew... Spew in this" (Garth offers a dixie-cup)
