I'm pretty sure that is the exact same car shown for the last 12 months. The cowl over the cockpit guages is still the exterior color - i thought this was confirmed by Mazda that feature was cut. Turn signals are still on the mirrors - although no word on that. more than likely the trunk still isn't finished - hence it is not open.

Still a great looking car, but I'm a little peeved that we have no new eye candy to quench my thirst.

Wow...the rx-8 looks awesome...i really hope it sells well..the interior gauges look a little different, or maybe its just my imagination. But then i went to the last pic, and the rx-7 looks just as nice or even better than the rx-8...def the sweetest body style of a japanese car. So, lets pray that the rx-8 sells well, so the 7 will be back on our streets.

hey the first shot of the rx8 on the right of the page, when it is showing the hood you can see the front license plate holder.

Is it me, or does that last picture of the RX-8 in the autoweek link look as if the rear seat doesn't give much leg room?
Seems like there's only an 8 inch gap from the front of the rear seat, to the back of the front seat?

I'm hoping that the side passenger seat is just pushed all the way back.
