this picture i found at mazdarotaryclub.com look how shallow the oil pan is! there were several others of the engine and a couple of the yellow car also.they were taken at the birmingham show.( not to take away anything from the efforts of our resident brit blueadept.)

You can really see how shallow it was!... less than 2 inches I'd say...
