That hood looks like crap on your car. It's too aggressive for the stock lines of the car. Would look good if you got some wheels, front bumper, and some skirts...

alright, looked at the pics.
interesting hood but it looks severely out of place for me. It's rather aggressive which doesn't necessarily go well with the smooth lines of our RX-8. If the car were modified with aftermarket wheels, bumper, side skirts, wing, etc etc (any / all) then I think it would all flow a little better. IMO.

BTW, I don't think your car looks bad, it has a ton of potential, just not sure why you started with the hood.

Because i wasn't sure about the whole "body kit thing" and I just graduated high school so its not like i have a paycheck coming in every week or so.

For me, I would have started with rims and a drop. I also think your hood would look much better color matched.

Right now i do have a job but dont get a paycheck until the end of summer, and thats what everyone does though. i dont want to be that other sports car with rims and a drop id rather start from the top of the car and work down

Other than maintenance mods, tires are the best bang for the buck upgrade you can do. Improves braking, acceleration and handling. I would have done wheels/tires/suspension first.

At the time i didn't have like 5 grand to drop so yeah if i did then i would of went suspension
