New Wheels on my VR - Falken 19"s with Falken 452 tires and Rotora brakes

Well I finally did it!

Got rid of my stock crap -

I got a set of Falken Circuit Spec 19" x 8 +45 from wolfy_hockey88 with gunmetal spokes (although it's hard to tell in the pics because of the sun)

I got Falken 542 tires to put on them (245-35-19) - for 140 each - better deal than anything from tirerack

I got a new set of TMPS from Rx8urZ to put on there

and I got a set of drilled and slotted rotors from Rotora... I think it all came together really nice.

I wanted to put some Rays red lugnuts on there -but the ones I bought wouldn't fit into the rim.. so i went with black.. and i need to return the red ones. they were a rip off anyways.

Let me know what you guys think!

looks great. +1 on lowering the car. I would suggest painting the calipers to give it a cleaner look as well. I think black or gray/silver would look awesome

I've only been about 20 miles on them.. but I can feel the smaller stuff a little more - because they have shorter sidewalls. as for grip and everything.. i didn't push them very hard because i just changed all the brakes and everything and i need to break them in before i go wild...

After I had mine done, put about 30 miles on them, and took it back so they could be re torqued. It was recommended by the wheel company, so I had it done. I am assuming your wheels are new as mine were? Even the tech said that was a good idea on a new wheel. Just my .02.

rims not wide enough.. the offset too big.. we have the same fate mate... I juz purchased my volk racing RE30 w/ 19x8 all around too w/ offset + 40.. Those wheels dun flush well with the fender... do u noticed our wheels not protruding enough.. we should get 19x8.5 +30 & 19x9.5 +36 like those members in this forum.. I think those are the most aggresive width and offset.... the solution, we need a pair of good spacer though to push those rims out a bit..

and maybe you should stretch the tires also. most members here are not running 19 inch wheels.. you should read around a bit.

wikked. looks great.. and thanks for all you electronics help on the forum.

beers

those specs won't require a stretch... just one size smaller than the norm or fender and wheel well modification. lol.

wikked, looks clean man. definitely do some lowering with that thing.

Thanks for the thread ressurection from april and the comments and suggestions.. yeah i noticed the wheels are "in" just a bit and the front could stand to be lowered an inch or so, but honestly i don't think i'm gonna do all that.. the cost and time it would take to do a drop like that just isn't worh it to me.. and maybe I should get some spacers, but I like it just the way it is less chance for me to curb them on something, which i am known to do and scared to death of every drive through i go through.. lol
