Did you ever give what I showed you with the connector diagram a try? I am curious how hard it will be, my nav hood comes sometime this week! :D

Not yet but yea I have a M3ATX PSU hooked up the the PC so everytime i crank my engine the pc would start. The Pico-ITX was something I bought from logicsupply dot com. It comes with a 60gb hdd, and free memory, +10 if you want to upgrade to 1gb memory. comes with the case also. CPU and video is embedded into the motherboard. I will try to get a DIY up when I have some time

is this what you bought? http://www.logicsupply.com/products/systemx07p1 is everything included with that? My 8 also has the navigation system on it so it already has the pop up screen would it be easier to incorparate the touch screen into it?
