Hey brew, I purchased mine locally here in Vancouver...I have no idea where u could buy one I guess you could start by looking on craigslist, autotrader or even Dearships...I go no clue on the transfer fees if you buy it from the states but all I know is if you get the R3 from the states it had as different bumper style meaning the one in Canada has wiper spray on the bumper that sprays on the headlights and the US one doesnt. Just look around you could probably find some good used R3 left over or even some still on the lots just have to look around.

^That stock R3 headlight does not look very bright at all! How do you find the visibility at night with the stock headlight bulbs??

They're hids. They're pretty bright. Like those annoying cars with the really bright lights on the road at night. R3s have those.

I really like it. It goes well with the black and red Recaros. I just lucked out I guess, considering I initially was looking at an '06 RX-8. The '06 turned out to be an auto, and I told the salesman to put it away, as I wasn't even going to test drive it. So he put it away and comes back with "hey, this just got traded in..." [so it wasn't listed]. And the rest, as they say, is history.

The headlights are pretty bright. It's just washed-out a bit in that picture because the car is sitting under an even brighter street light, plus my phone's flash.

Not bad.

Where did you source the springs and spacers from? How did it alter the handling?

I worry about dropping the car and spacing the wheels because the handling is exactly perfect for me the way it is. I worry about upsetting the balance. Although your drop is exactly where I'd want mine to be, since I don't want a car that will have me going 1 mph over speedbumps.

thanks guys! that clarified a lot of stuff for me! I knew it was HIDs as well, but in the picture it just didn't look that bright; however, I guess the location, the time of the day, and the method of capturing that picture really affected how the light appears to look.

Cheers!!

And this thread ROCKS!!! Sooo many awesome pictures!!! *droolzzzzzz*!!

Do you have any other pics? I'd like to see what your spoiler looks like from the side. I like the low-key look that it has. Where'd you find it?
