PB is my favorite color. They so should have done the Shinka package with PB, I'd have it right now if they did.

Umm, that PB really looks intersting. But it looks pale in bright sunlight. Sharp at night.

I know. I keep saying that it makes me feel like I own 3-4 different 8's! I do, however, have trouble in parking lots. If I go to the mall or something during the daytime and leave at dusk--my car goes from a bright (almost winning blue'ish color) to a deep green (almost Nordic Green'ish) color. Then in the evening--its almost stormy blue'ish.

i don't have trouble in parking lots... i just walk to the furthest parking spot and my PB is right there!

I think the color makes your 8 look rare. I rarely see that color on a RX-8.

I really like the phantom blue, gives off a very unique color (in the sun and shade) which really sets it apart. I like it, but this seems to be a color people either love or hate.

Ja the problem is half the time it's ugly green when sitting. Looks pretty good when moving but then your inside the car.

psh... i havn't met a girl who hasn't like the color yet... so as a young single college grad, i'm lovin' every minute of it... i took some more pics last weekend w/ my new cam i'll post later

I think it also depends on your monitor and the camera taking the pics as well because I have seen the color many times in person without any green hue to it. I have a great Samsung Monitor at Home and a shitty dell at work and ther is a big difference when looking at these pics.

i used to have a haro bicycle that did that. it always amazed my friends. but it's too much green for my taste on the 8. I can see the appeal though.

YES, you are RIGHT. Online photos of Phantom Blue will never do it justice. You need to see it in natural lighting. Bright blue at times, vibrant, chronic green at others. With lots of gold flake upon closer inspection.

My two favorite cars on this site are;

1. Mine (hey gotta respect myself )
2. Kanes (for OBVIOUS reasons)

Yours looks great as well. Looks cold in VA..... Boooooooo! That is the other place we divers can get sent... I am not looking forward to it. PS. Did they put your state insp sticker on crooked?

The PM color in pictures is about 1/10th as good as it looks in real life. There is just no good way to capture how it actually looks. I thought it looked good, and when I saw it in real life I almost sh*t myself.

Yah, I bought it in January after it was 50 F every day after Christmas. Then bam, 6 straight weeks of snow and ice. VA isn't so bad, and the change of seasons is actually pretty nice here. Dunno where you'd be diving, but I assume down VA.Beach way, which generally stays warmer. Personally, I wouldn't want to go from HI to VA either haha. And yes, my dealership did put it on a bit crooked. :/ BUT, Va just eliminated County Stickers in most places, so we've got that going for us now. If I hadn't used up all my "get out of court free" cards I would go back to no front plate.

Its nice out now, I need to get some more pics in here.
