Thanks and I love it! Use to drag myself in to work, but now can't wait to get in the car. Oh dear, is break-in 1,000 miles or kms? I just crossed 1,000 kms last night and figured she was all broken-in. Yes, it's a she and she has a name...

the pix look great........especially the full side view.......the black cherry shows well...did you do anything to bring out the color.....I seem to have difficulty getting my photos to show what the eye sees.....

Today was a nice day outside so I took a few pictures of my 8 before driving it around :D
Hey Mattshack
the black cherry really did come out fantastic in that pic.....I just noticed that youve got aeroflares, side and rear.....did that come that way from the factory or did you do it?
-P
The aeroflares where on the 8 when I bought it but I have painted a MazdaSpeed spoiler (I used to paint cars for a living) that I am debating on installing. I like the look with out a spoiler and hate to drill holes in the deck lid.
When I bought this car I had the dealer do most everything (besides clear markers). I figured that way if I had trouble with anything they would have to fix it and I would get a loaner car
As far as the color showing up in the pictures: I have waxed the car with NXT wax. (I have not tried any other brands; it is what we used on a few show cars I painted). It does seem to help the color show in the sun, plus it also adds more depth to the paint.
I got some touch up paint from the deal when I bought my car. If they have trouble finding the paint, just ask them for the touch up paint for the Miata with the same color.
Thank you for all the complements on the pictures and car. I really love this car. :D

Hi everyone, former VR and now Shinka. Just wanted to drop in and say hello. One question, what are you guys using to clean your seats?
I use Zaino Leather in a Bottle Treatment and Conditioner. They also make a cleaner but my car hasn't got that dirty that I need something stronger. It works great, its not greasy and smells pretty darn good.
I havent had to clean them yet......have new rules where the shinka is concerned.....no one under the age of 18 and no food!!!!! the suv carries the greyhound and anything else that may cause dirt damage.....:-)
