Nice to see fellow Shinka owners together on a thread. I posted some pics when I purchased mine in late January:

This thread has inspired me to get my windows tinted and order some strakes - likely will go with the DBS version.

I'll post pictures in a couple of weeks when the changes are made.

great pix.....I think I'll hold off on the tinted windows.....got clear corners coming in, just ordered some strakes on ebay, some rotary accents from trussville and I'm working on some aeroflares, splash guards and rear spoiler painted by the dealer....hope to have some newer pix in a couple of weeks.

The interior colour and everythin is totally same with the black cherry so do the wheel, head light and the tail light..

the only different is only the body isn't in black cherry..
i dun want to choose black cherry because im goin to mod my car..
knew soon i'll be havin problem with the painting if i choose the black cherry..

the Shinka is a special edition of the 8....there are other differences other than the black cherry that make it a shinka .....ie different shocks, foam filled cross members, SAT radio, etc...cant wait to see your pix

yep my shock is the same with u too ..
the only diff is titanium and black cherry.. thats all..

even japan have 3 color choice for '05 shinka..

i'll post my pic by tonite if possible..

Wow....didnt know they made Shinka's in other colors....only available in black-cherry in the states.....what colors are available in Japan? where are you from?

Our monthly payments are very reasonable. We got a great interest rate, and we put alot down.

When I went back to the dealership the week after buying my car, they told me someone had spotted my Shinka and wanted one too. So they had one brought in and sold it to another woman in Pensacola. I guess my car has a twin here with *another* female driver. I wish I could find out who it is, would be fun to hang out with another female with the same car!

Shinka213, I like your clear corners btw. I'll probably do that as soon as I get some time. I'm just not sure if buying them off ebay is a bad idea (lower quality?) and havent had time to research into that.

I am undecided on kits, very expensive! If nothing else, it will have to wait as none of them come in the Black cherry color. I definitely want an MS wing though, I think that is the name of the spoiler I want. Nice set of rims are also on my list

Im glad you love your car.......do you think the black cherry is a chick thing???? some of the guys might not agree....but I do love how the cherry comes out in the sun....I got the clear corners from a guy out in california.....not on ebay...the price is ok and fit just fine....check mazdaparts.com ....I got the strakes from Howard in the UK on ebay.....the price was definitely right on those...took about a week....easy to install......and look absolutely beautiful against the black cherry....I got the rotary accents (front and rear) from Trussville Mazda...they're on the web and you can order on-line....next is a body kit....I'll keep ya posted....

I agree, I think the Black Cherry is a chick thing. Colors are details women really think about. My main reason for getting the Shinka was the Black Cherry exterior color and Parchment leather interior (and price comparison with all the extras like Bose speakers). I refuse to go with dark interior especially since I currently live in Florida.

I forgot to add strakes to my list, great reminder! My Shinka came with rotary accents so I already got those. Oh almost forgot, I intend to get one of those clear bras. I think it will be a good investment since I drive an average of 35 miles a day in it.

I am always looking forward to sunny days now. The color really glows on a beautiful day. My mom is hilarious, now that she has seen pics of my car she is talking about painting her car Black cherry. LOL!!

It seems two of the Shinka owners here have a black passenger seat and a tan leather driver's seat. Is this the way they came?

Another female Shinka owner here. Just got mine on Saturday and am loving it! I've never been so happy to park my car in the sun. The Arizona sun can be brutal but the color is gorgeous!!

LOL. Just figured it out. Umbra's and Lady Shinka's pics created a visual illusion. When I realized it was a shadow over the passenger side, then the illusion went away. Wow, that was weird.

Another female Shinka here! Just brought it home on April 2nd and I've already seen another parked on the street in the same industrial park where I work. My friend saw the driver of the other Shinka, another female!

Welcome CGA-zoomzoom. That is too funny, all the shinka owners I've heard of are all females! (with the exception of maybe two on this board)

I hope you enjoy your Shinka. I'm almost at 1000 miles and only have had it less than one month. Break in period is almost over, and I really get to test drive it :D
