Okay, I know they have a bad rep. for being ricey but I think they make any car look cool with the doors open. Anyway, what I'm really trying to see here if there are people using them, what brand, and do you have any pictures of what your 8 looks like with the doors open.
Thanks.

This reminds me of when Mazdamaniac told me turbo timers were for ricers but yet he has Lambo doors But they do look cool on the right car. But on a stock RX-8 it's gay.
I'm not completely against them on a right car.
However, I feel like for the price they cost and install you can spend your money sooo much wiser. Buy some wheels, coilovers, front lip or something. Atleast those will show all the time, you only see lambo doors when you get in and out of it.

Agreed. Plus it ruins the door alignment and looks uneven most of the time.

I, personally, wouldn't choose to do it just for the looks. If you're making a show car and trying to get attention and add that extra thing, then it makes sense to do stuff like that.
Functionally, it does make it easier to get in and out in tight spaces.
And I just got a stupid idea... has anyone done it to all 4 doors?

MM's car
I think that looks sweet!
